Pumps
Centrifugal Pumps
In industry, centrifugal pumps are used more often than any other pumps. In particular, they are indispensable in the dairy, wine and liquor industries. Their simplicity, reliable operation, high efficiency, and easy automation of controls contribute to their widespread use.

Centrifugal pumps: Design and application
The centrifugal water pump works as follows. The impeller, rotating, produces a centrifugal force which creates head. This triggers the impeller, on the ends of which the blades are fixed. This creates a vacuum in the central part and a pressure in the peripheral part, which forces the liquid into the pipeline. Most of the equipment is driven by an electric motor. When the fluid being pumped is pushed back against the walls of the working chamber, the vacuum in the central part allows the medium to be drawn in through a nozzle.
Series 160 centrifugal pumps are used for conveying foodstuffs without mechanical impurities. They are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Our 170 series multistage centrifugal pumps, with two or more impellers, offer considerably higher capacity compared to single-stage pumps. They generate fluid flow with higher head values, allowing medium to be conveyed over long distances and considerable heights.
Their characteristics:
The possibility to use between 2 and 6 working stagesClosed impellers; The mechanism prevents foaming and is therefore suitable for the transfer of juices, wine and beer.
The pumping equipment is manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and to chemical agents. You can apply for centrifugal self-priming pump by means of online form. We will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss the details of your order.
